Staffordshire Day

In 2026 Staffordshire Day is 10, so this year will be even bigger and better than ever!

We’re not just celebrating the anniversary of our most famous son, Josiah Wedgwood, and the recognition of Staffordshire in the Magna Carta. 

Our tenth Staffordshire Day is about helping people to discover the places and stories which makes our county different, welcoming and full of heart.  Hear at the Stafford Arms we will be celebrating with some delicious Staffordshire treats 

And at the centre of it all, is ‘Staffy’ who is  a new mascot for Staffordshire, inspired by the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He’s active, adventurous and fun, loyal, hardworking and strong – everything that Staffordshire and Staffordshire people are. He’ll be out and about helping everyone discover Staffordshire.
