Chef de Partie (Part-time / Full-Time hours available)

As Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily operation of our kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served. Your creativity and culinary skills will contribute to the development of new menu items and the overall success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the restaurant’s standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
  • Monitor stock levels and Rotation of Stock
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, using fresh ingredients
  • knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
  • Managing and organising their station, including maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and proper storage of ingredients
  • setup and close down of service station
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and passion for food.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications.

Part-time Cleaner 7am – 11am Tuesday & Friday (Two References Required) 11am – 3pm Front of house server (You must have cleaning experience and be able to supply two references due to being a key holder).

The Stafford Arms, Bagnall is a very busy pub/restaurant and we have an opportunity to expand our team, we have a part time position for a reliable, trustworthy person to clean our Front of House areas, all aspects of cleaning needs to be performed at a high standard, and may include working alongside our current cleaning staff.

Our venue is not on a public transport route so own transport is essential.

The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a busy restaurant environment.

Details: · Working Hours: 07:00 – 11:00 cleaning and 11am – 3pm front of house server.  There will be occasions to cover Holidays

· Days: Tuesday & Friday 8 hrs each day

Main Responsibilities:

· Cleaning restaurant floors

· Wiping down furniture, glass, mirrors, and doors

· Maintaining cleanliness of the bar area

· Cleaning and sanitising toilets

. Serving customers during our lunchtime service

Requirements:

· Previous cleaning experience is essential

· Ability to supply suitable references

· Attention to detail and a strong work ethic

· Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently

· Professional attitude at all times
