The Stafford Arms is an independently-owned pub with its history dating back to the 16th Century, and has been in the hands of its current owners for over 25 years. 

Situated in the picturesque village of Bagnall in front of the Village Green, the Stafford Arms is at the centre of Staffordshire life, providing a social meeting place for an informal drink, a light lunch or a full a la carte meal.

Our Menu

Our À la Carte menu is a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes.
Where possible, we buy fresh local produce and our dishes are handmade and cooked to order.

 

 

Before Booking

We want everyone to have a great experience when dining or drinking with us.
Please take the time to read our Terms and Conditions.

The venue is an independent restaurant and relies on reservations being honoured. We kindly ask that should you need to make any amendments to your booking, that you do so as soon as possible. You can contact our reservations team on 01782 502266 where they will be happy to help.

Please do make us aware of any special requests you may have, along with any allergies or dietary requirements.

Tables booked on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (8 or less) require card details to secure the booking. Your credit card details are securely kept with a third party called Stripe and will only be charged if the cancellation terms are not met. These terms are: we require 24 hrs notice for amendments and cancellations of your table. Failure to comply will automatically result in your card being charged £10 per person. We politely ask you to contact us if you are running late, as we can hold your table for 15 minutes after which we will release it and the cancellation charge will be applied.

Your personal data will not be passed to any other party and it is retained for a period of 24 months.

On Special Dates we typically serve a set menu. All bookings will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit and provide us with a pre-order for their party, unless otherwise stated.

If your reservation is for a party of 9 or more, please call us to discuss your booking. A £10 per person non-refundable deposit is required along with other details we will inform you about.

Our pub is child friendly, we kindly ask that children are supervised and for safety are not allowed to run around the venue.  We offer a younger guests menu which is available until 6.30pm everyday, families dining with young children and babies are asked to vacate the venue on a Friday and Saturday evening by 8.30pm.

We are a dog friendly pub offering a specific area in our bar. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture and must be kept on a lead at all times. Complimentary biscuits are available and please ask a member of staff should you require fresh drinking water for your dog.
