Chef de Partie

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily operation of our kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served. Your creativity and culinary skills will contribute to the development of new menu items and the overall success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the restaurant’s standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and development.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
  • Monitor stock levels 
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and passion for food.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications.

Front of House

The position available is for 30 hours, as the job includes being able to serve alcohol on our bar the candidate would need to be 18 or over and must be able to work week days, evenings and weekends.

Front of house staff are responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall dining or service experience, including:

  • Greeting Guests: Welcoming customers as they arrive and ensuring they feel comfortable.
  • Managing Reservations: Handling bookings and seating arrangements to optimize service flow.
  • Taking Orders: Accurately recording customer orders and relaying them to the kitchen or bar staff.
  • Serving Food and Drinks: Delivering orders promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Handling Payments: Processing transactions and managing cash or card payments efficiently.
  • Addressing Customer Concerns: Responding to any issues or complaints to ensure a positive experience
  • Support the Front of House team and Management
